A Harvard Business school article states “If marketing and sales do not cooperate, the company’s strategy will be inconsistent and weak.”[1] This quote is indicative of the movement for Marketing and Sales sectors in firms to unite forces. These two groups have the same core function being to scale revenue maximization through processes and handle resource management. Both work to set strategies, and optimize processes but their applications are different. These two groups are combining to be more efficient, help navigate activities like cross-functional processes, technology investments, and advanced analytics.[2]
